Model Brinell camera

The Brinell hardness measurement system uses a tungsten carbide ball to apply a load to the material, then measures the diameter of the resulting indentation. This method is particularly well suited to metals and alloys with heterogeneous structures.

Available equipment

  • Brinell camera for 2.5 / 5 mm ball
  • Brinell camera for 10 mm ball

Applications

  • Hardness measurement of metals (steel, aluminum, cast iron)
  • Quality control in metallurgical and mechanical industries
  • Research and development of new alloys

Advantages

  • Precision: Accurate measurement of indentation diameter
  • Adaptability: Suitable for coarse-structured materials
  • Standards compliance: Results compliant with standards (ISO 6506, ASTM E10)
