Model Brinell camera
The Brinell hardness measurement system uses a tungsten carbide ball to apply a load to the material, then measures the diameter of the resulting indentation. This method is particularly well suited to metals and alloys with heterogeneous structures.
Available equipment
- Brinell camera for 2.5 / 5 mm ball
- Brinell camera for 10 mm ball
Applications
- Hardness measurement of metals (steel, aluminum, cast iron)
- Quality control in metallurgical and mechanical industries
- Research and development of new alloys
Advantages
- Precision: Accurate measurement of indentation diameter
- Adaptability: Suitable for coarse-structured materials
- Standards compliance: Results compliant with standards (ISO 6506, ASTM E10)
